  Why Post on JWD if not from JWism?

  i've noticed lots of people posting here that have never been witnesses.

  since the nature of this forum is mostly about.

  the issues and problems ex-jws face and about keeping an eye on developments within the wt org, why would anybody .

  is there help out there

  I read and post becouse JW is like a soap opera, or a book you can not put down. Every time I read a poster profile it make me feel how lucky I was never born into or joined the wt. I have learned one think the only JW that will see paradise are the black cows grazing in the grass on the grounds of the WT in patterson NY. All they do all day is eat grass, screw and then they go to sleep under a tree. Then at night they are taken into the barn and the bethalites milk and wash then.

  how brother barely gettin' by on my janitorial/window cleaning business elder and pioneer feels about a giant book selling corporation requiring him to be at a week long business meeting at his own expense starting feb. 2008. quite the opposite from how this wicked 'ol world treats their employee's.

  or the hard working elder who has a family and one week vacation in 2008 to be spent at the lovely patterson resort in the dead of winter.

  glad i ain't one.

  And do not forget that after the meeting they get to mike there cows and clean up the cow poo. The smart one say they are to sick from eating the great food they provid and spend the day up the road at Thunder Ridge ski area.

  my diehard, hardcore, zealous, door knocking ex-wife has been disfellowshipped three times and reproved twice.

  i think that is a lot of suffering for one life.

  if it happens again, at least they don't have a name for it......oompa

  Wife vented tonight!

  my babe (wife's approved nickname) finally vented today because it was her birthday, which we couldn't acknowledge, and she feels really emotional that she never had a chance at a real career, may have wasted her life, etc.... she may be coming around a bit but now this is really uncharted territory!.

  ironically i'm getting through to her but it's scaring the bajeebers out of me now!

  thanks for sharing this book with me.

  although i'm sure this book is accurate and these things have happened within the governing body, it did happen a long time ago and even the "annoited" are imperfect men.. after alot of thought and prayer i chose to stay a witness- an active witness to my ability which is now limited.

  I think many do not leave is becouse they just have no place to go. There are so many thing out there that are fine and beatufil that they do not know about becouse the WT has said they are evil and we all know that they are not. Like the JW who approched me in the A&P parking lot this morning she was like a polictial candate running for election knowing she did not have a chance to win.
